Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair

Removing and installing or replacing front stabilizer





Remove underbody protection and reinforcement plate.
Remove pressure rod from stabilizer.
Remove both rubber mounts (1 - 2).





Release guide joint in swivel bearing (left side of car).
Press spring strut forwards.
Lift stabilizer bar over drive shafts and remove towards left.

Installation:
Rubber mount, retaining bracket and stabilizer bar free of grease.
If necessary, replace rubber mount.
