51 16 383 Removing And Installing/Replacing Damper For Glovebox

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove glovebox with housing







Version without active knee protection:
Press catch (1) together and slide damper (2) in direction of arrow.
Remove damper (2) in inward direction.







Release clip (1) and remove holder (2).

Installation:
Catch (5) and guide (4) on damper (3) must not be damaged or missing.







Version with active knee protection:
Release screws (1) and damper (2).
