The instrument cluster is the central gateway (interface) for the bus network: The bus systems PTCAN bus, K bus and diagnosis bus and the byte flight are interconnected in the instrument cluster.
The byte flight is connected via the Safety and Information Module SIM (= gateway) to the K bus.
