52 16... Removing And Installing/Replacing Gearing For Longitudinal Seat Adjustment On Left And Right On Front Seat

Remove front seat.







Detach flex shaft (1) on left and right first from gearing (2) and then from servomotor (3).







Drive out split pin (1).
Detach gearing (2) downwards from guide rail.







Twist out gearing (1) together with spindle (2).







Installation:
Align guide rails before installing flex shafts. Distance (A) must be the same on both guide rails.
If necessary, turn spindle over gearing by hand.
Flex shafts are fitted to gearings without connecting pieces.

Installation:
Carry out function check.
