Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Follow instructions for removing and installing electronic control units.
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Switch off ignition.







Release screws.
Tightening torque, 12 90 4AZ.
Remove cover (1) from electronics box.







Unlock plug (1) and detach from control unit (2).
Remove control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (2).


NOTE:
Interrogate fault memory of DME control unit.
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Then clear fault memory.
