Vehicles produced from 09/2002 to 10/2002 with option 609 (Navigation System Professional, MK3 with CD drive)

SITUATION
The navigation system screen starts with lettering "T20.10" in addition to the BMW logo.

CAUSE
Software error in the NAV computer

[NEW] CORRECTION
DO NOT REPLACE PARTS!

Install the most current navigation system software.
