Evaporative Emissions System: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing/Replacing Tank Leakage Diagnosis Module (DM-TL)

DM-TL = diagnosis module, tank leakage
Remove rear left wheel.
Remove left rear wheel housing trim.







Unfasten plug connection (1).
Unlock line (2) and detach from DM-TL (3).







Release screws (1).
Detach DM-TL (2) from carbon canister (3) towards front.







Installation:
To facilitate installation of DM-TL, coat connection (1) on carbon canister with antiseize agent (sourcing reference: BMW Parts Service).
