11 12 719 - Resurfacing cylinder head sealing face (N73)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove cylinder head Removing and Installing Left Cylinder Head (N73).

- Remove inlet Removing and Installing/Replacing Left Inlet Camshaft and exhaust camshafts.





Check evenness of cylinder head sealing face with a standard straight-edge (1).

Note:
Max. deviation from level (longitudinal) 0.10 mm





Check evenness of cylinder head sealing face with a standard straight-edge (1).

Note:
Max. deviation from level (transversal) 0.05 mm





Note:
A 0.3 mm thick cylinder head gasket is available for machined (milled) cylinder heads.





Assemble engine.
