Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

13 71 010 - Removing and installing/replacing left (or right) intake filter housing (N73)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Switch off ignition.

- Remove intake pipe.

- Unlock plug connection on air-mass flow sensor and disconnect.

- Only on right side: release coolant expansion tank.

- Only on right side: unlock vacuum hose on upper intake filter housing section and disconnect.





Unfasten screws.
Remove intake filter housing (1) towards top.





Assemble engine.
Check intake manifold for leaks.
