Replacing Pulse Generator on Left Exhaust Camshaft (N73)

12 14 512 - Replacing pulse generator on left exhaust camshaft (N73)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- (cylinder bank 7 to 12)
- Read out fault memory in DME control unit.
- Remove center equipment bulkhead 51 71 085 Removing and installing center of assembly compartment bulkhead.





Unlock and detach plug connection (1).
Unscrew screw.
Remove pulse generator (2).

Installation Note:
Replace sealing ring and coat with anti-friction rubber coating.





Note:
Check function of DME.
