Replacing Pulse Generator on Left Inlet Camshaft (N73)

12 14 522 - Replacing pulse generator on left inlet camshaft (N73)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- (cylinder bank 7 to 12)
- Read out fault memory of DME control unit.
- Remove center equipment bulkhead 51 71 085 Removing and installing center of assembly compartment bulkhead.





Unlock plug connection and detach.
Unscrew screw.
Remove pulse generator (1).

Installation Note:
Replace sealing ring and coat with anti-friction rubber coating.





Note:
Check function of DME.
