Front Door Window Glass: Adjustments

51 32 154 - Adjusting left or right front door window glass





Special tools required:
- 61 2 071 61 2 070 Cable Set
- 61 2 210 61 2 210 Activation of Power Windows





Note:
Door window glass must be closed.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove door brake for front door Removing and Installing/Replacing Door Brake on Left or Right Front Door





Slacken screws (1 and 2) (do not release fully).

Retaining clip (3) remains fitted.





Screws (1) of power window rails at top must be tightened down.

Slacken screws (2) of door window (do not release fully).

Connect special tool 61 2 210 61 2 210 Activation of Power Windows to plug connection (3) and special tool 61 2 071 61 2 070 Cable Set. Connect special tool 61 2 071 61 2 070 Cable Set to a 12 V power source.

Important!
Release switch immediately when door window gas reached end position (risk of damage).

Energize power window for max. 0.5 seconds in end position.

Open door window approx. 100 mm and close again completely.

Tighten down screws (2) of door window.

Tightening torque 51 32 2AZ 51 32 Front Door Windows.





Using special tools 61 2 210 61 2 210 Activation of Power Windows and 61 2 071 61 2 070 Cable Set, open door window (1) to approx. 40 mm.

Tighten down screws (2).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ [1][2]51 32 Front Door Windows.





Close door window (1) until screw (2) is accessible.

Tighten screw (2).

Tightening torque 51 33 2AZ [1][2]51 32 Front Door Windows.

Close door window (1) completely.

Installation:
Initialize power window Programming and Relearning.
