Removing and Installing/Replacing Drip Moulding

54 13 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing Drip Moulding

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove complete glass slide/tilt sunroof
- Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof lid at rear
- Remove glass slide/tilt sunroof lid at front







IMPORTANT: Risk of damage to drip moulding carrier.

Carefully unclip drip moulding (1) upwards out of carrier (2).







Installation:
Attach spring (3) to drip moulding pivot point.
Make sure spring is correctly positioned in drip moulding.







Installation:
Observe installation sequence:
1. Suspend spring in drip moulding carrier
2. Press drip moulding onto glass slide/tilt sunroof
3. Clip pivot point (bearing) of drip moulding into carrier
Check drip moulding for spring tension.
