51 16 000 Removing And Installing/Replacing Mirror On Left Or Right Front Door

Partially undo sound insulation in front area but do not remove.







Lift cable (1) out of holders (3) and (4).
Undo cable tie (5).
Feed out cable (1) after releasing mirror.

Installation:
Lay cable (1) in front of reinforcement (2).







Turn mirror (1) through approx. 90° towards front until screws (2) are accessible.
Loosen screws (2).
Remove mirror (1) and feed out cable.

Installation:
1AZ Mirror to front door 6 Nm

Carry out function check.







Replacement only:
Detach liner (1) and feed out cable (2).
Remove mirror glass.
