Upper Control Arm

Remove/Replacing Upper Control Arm

Caution: After assembly, perform wheel alignment check, refer to 32 00 150.

Remove barrel spring, refer to 33 53 000.

Remove stabilizer bar support from control arm at top.

If necessary, remove ride level sensor.





Unfasten nut and remove screw.

Installation:
Note insertion direction of bolt.
F = direction of travel
Tightening Torque, refer to Technical Data 33 32 11AZ.





Release bolt on rear axle carrier and remove.

Car with final drive 188 compact: In order to remove the bolt, it is possible to detach the final drive from the rear axle carrier and press it towards the rear, refer to 33 10 010.

Installation:
Observe bolt insertion direction in direction of travel (F).
Tightening Torque, refer to Technical Data 33 32 14AZ.
