54 34 101 Removing And Installing Complete EH Convertible Top

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Follow repair instructions for hydraulic system
- Remove side trim upper section at rear
- Remove side trim lower section at rear left (EH convertible top only)







Open side windows and convertible top lid.
Raise clamping bracket into upright position.

NOTE: Support convertible top compartment lid.







Mark position of convertible top on baseplate.
Unfasten screws.
Stow convertible top in its compartment.







EH convertible top only:
Disconnect hydraulic lines and join supply and return lines of convertible top.

Installation:
The lines are designed in such a way as to prevent them being mixed up.
Ensure lines are in their proper positions.







Disconnect cable tie (1) and plug (2).







EH convertible top only:
Disconnect plug (1), unclip wiring harness (2) and remove towards top.

Installation:
Feed in upper cable guide (3) correctly to body edge.







Release screw.
Lift out complete convertible top.
