54 21 ... Removing And Installing/replacing Fastener For Hard Top At Front Left Or Right

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove roof lining.

Installation:
- Observe hard top gap dimensions.







Release nuts (1) and screws (2).

Installation:
4AZ Hexagon screw
M6 x 25 6.6 Nm
Screws must be replaced.

By removing or adding shims, it is possible to align the hard top to the cowl panel:
A) vertically
B) longitudinally to the vehicle

Install fastener:
- Screw on hard top fasteners loosely.
- Fit hard top and lock.
- Align hard top in (A) and (B).
- Unlock hard top and remove carefully.
- Tighten down screws and nuts.
