Does the noise emit from all speakers?
Is the noise static or garbled sound?
In most cases this noise will occur if the vehicle is driven for an extended period.

If the noise is static in all audio modes and is emitted from all speakers perform the following checks when the noise is occurring.

1. Disconnect the optical flash jumper located near the glove box. Is the noise still present?

2. Disconnect the TCU connector. Is the noise still present?

3. Replace TCU if after either of the above steps is performed the noise is gone.

4. Send TCU along with the steps performed in diagnosis to:

3. If normal sound is restored then replace the amplifier.
