Warning!
Risk of injury!

Observe following instructions relating to special tool:

1. Prior to each use, check the special tools for defects, modifications and operational reliability.
2. Damaged/modified special tools must not be used!
3. No changes or modifications may be made to the special tools!
4. Keep special tools dry, clean and free of grease.

Important!
The radiator cover must be installed to support the transverse member securely.





Note:
- Numbering system for special tools has been recoded.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Secure engine bonnet/hood in service position Procedures
- Remove injection pipe Service and Repair and place to one side
Note: Remove injection pipe to prevent it from being damaged.





Assemble transverse member 00 6 000 00 6 000 Fixture with special tools:

- 00 6 051 (profile strips)
- 00 6 060 (supports, long)
- 00 6 052 (supports, short)





Important!
Avoid a change of engine position in the transverse or longitudinal direction.

Always make sure there is sufficient clearance between the engine (or its attachment parts) and the body.













Warning!
Risk of injury!

Tighten down all adjusting screws and nuts on transverse member 00 6 000 00 6 000 Fixture.





Release and dispose of nuts (1).

Raise engine approx. 10 mm with transverse member.

Installation Note:
Replace self-locking nuts.

Tightening torque 22 11 2AZ Specifications.
