Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair

37 14 610 Removing and installing/replacing transversal-acceleration sensor

Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Remove right front seat

After installation:
^ If necessary, carry out initial Dynamic Drive operation





Raise rear floor trim in area of center console.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque; Lateral acceleration sensor to body 8 Nm
Unlock connector and remove.

Important! After installation, carry out following steps using BMW diagnostic system on vehicles with DYNAMIC DRIVE:
- Learn sensor parameters
- Learn sensor zero point
