Procedures

37 14 055 Removing and installing DYNAMIC DRIVE control unit
Important! Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the system.
Seal off pipe connections with plugs.

After installation:
^ Carry out initial DYNAMIC DRIVE operation.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
^ Disconnect battery and cover negative pole or terminal.
^ Remove trim for instrument panel, bottom left
^ Remove side trim in front right footwell





Unlock plug (1) and remove.
Release nut (2) and nut (concealed) above control unit.
Tightening torque; DYNAMIC DRIVE control unit to body 2.5 Nm
Pull out Dynamic Drive control unit towards bottom.





Coding/programming
Observe following IDC specifications:
^ Programming
^ Coding
^ Car & Key Memory
^ CD "CIP"

Replacement only:

Important! Before inserting the plug in the electronic control unit check whether all the pins are assigned. If this is applicable, carry out the following work step.

Open plug.
Disconnect leads of the following pins from the plug (Notes) insulate and tie back to the wiring harness.
