Implausible Crash Signal Stored in Satellite Sensors

Complaint

The airbag warning lamp is on, and the following "Implausible Crash Signal" faults are stored:

942B (SGM - Safety and Gateway Module)
9AC5 (SFZ - Vehicle center satellite)
98C5 (SBSR - B-pillar satellite right)
9845 (SBSL - B-pillar satellite left)
94C6 (SZL - Steering column switch cluster)
96C5 (TEBF - Door module passenger)
9645 (TEFA - Door module driver)

Also, FC 98C3 (PDC3 Data error in telegrams) is stored in the SBSR.

Vehicles affected:
E60 (5 Series), E63/E64 (6 Series) with integration level E60-04-09-500 or higher.

SW error

Measure

In case of customer complaint, do not replace parts - these faults occur very infrequently.

Delete stored fault codes.

Improved software will be released in a future CIP version.
