E60 (5 Series MY 2004) - Audio system malfunctions at low ambient temperatures

Complaint
Audio system malfunctions after the vehicle is started at low ambient temperatures.
If a CD is being played, the track suddenly skips forward to the next track.
The malfunctions no longer occur once the vehicle has warmed up.

Cause
Software error in the M-ASK

Measure
Do not replace any parts.
Program the M-ASK with CIP11.0 when available (approximately 03/2004).
