E60 CPT9000 Mobile Phone no signal strength
Complaint
Customer may complain of no mobile phone reception when connected to the vehicle.
Cause
Antenna coaxial cable connection
Measure
1. Check signal strength of handset not plugged in.
2. Check signal strength of handset while plugged into eject box connector.
3. If signal strength is lost when handset is plugged in, remove the trim from LH luggage compartment.
4. Locate the 2 antenna cables that are plugged into each other (optional Compensator connections).
5. Unplug connections and inspect for protective caps, remove caps and reconnect both antenna cables and retest system.
