Removing and Installing Door

41 51 080 - Removing and installing / replacing left or right front door





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Release door brake from door pillar Releasing Door Retainer From Left or Right Door Pillar.





Warning!
Side airbag is installed in door trim panel: Disconnect battery Instructions for Disconnecting and Connecting Battery.





Release screws on connector frame.





Release screws between both hinge elements at top and bottom.





Unhinge door by moving upwards and placing it on a suitable surface.





Pull plug connection from door pillar, unlock by pulling out bar and detach.

Important!
During straightening work:
Do not release screws/bolts of side impact protection. Risk of damage to door.

Installation Note:
If necessary, adjust front door Adjustments.
