Instrument Cluster / Carrier: Service and Repair

62 11 280 - Removing and installing (replacing) instrument cluster





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove wood trim on instrument panel on left 51 45 360 - Removing and installing/replacing wood trim on left.





Release screws (1).
Fold instrument cluster (2) towards rear and remove in direction of arrow.
Disconnect plug connection behind.





Installation:
Retaining lugs (1) of instrument cluster (2) must be exactly seated in mountings of instrument panel.





Replacement:
Carry out coding/programming.
Observe following IDC specifications:
- Programming
- Coding
- Car & Key Memory
- CD "CIP"
