Removing and Installing/Replacing DSC Yaw Sensor (DSC Sensor)

34 52 550 - Removing and installing/replacing DSC yaw sensor (DSC sensor)





Important!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove right front seat
- Remove front inside entrance cover strip 51 47 000 - Removing and installing / replacing entrance cover strip, front (inside) left or right

Note:
The yaw sensor comprises the function of the transversal-acceleration sensor and the yaw sensor.





Important!
Do not kink floor panelling under any circumstances!

Lift floor carpet and fold back to one side.

Remove expansion rivets (1).
Carefully raise air duct at rear and turn to one side.





Disconnect plug connection.
Release screws (1) and remove rotation rate sensor.

Installation Note:
Tightening torque, 34 51 3AZ. 34 51 Slip Control System (ABS, ASC+T, DSC)
Ensure proper locking of plug connector.





Carry out calibration/adjustment of DSC sensor.
