Entertainment/Infotainment Operation
Entertainment/Infotainment Operation
Control of the Entertainment/Infotainment functions in the MOST network can be performed with various controls. Operation can be performed by way of voice processing, the multifunction steering wheel, the audio system controller or by way of menu prompting in the control display. Malfunctions always point to a single fault location. With the "distributed functions" used in this system, the fault location cannot be localized exclusively by perceptive detection.
Operation
Over 700 functions are integrated in the MOST network. The possible functions cannot be shown in their entirety in this functional description. No details are given of the user-programmable functions. The summary in table form of the complete functions is helpful for troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting
Many of the functions are event driven. There are no fault memory entries for these functions. A malfunction must be assigned to a main function with the aid of perceptive detection. A fault location can be identified by using the different options for calling up the function.
