61 35 224 - Removing and installing (replacing) control unit for left or right rear door





Important!

Read out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
- Print out and make a note of settings for car and key memory in CKM menu





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear door trim panel Removing and Installing Left or Right Rear Door Trim Panel.





Important!
Risk of mixing up plugs for door lock and control unit!
Mark relevant plugs prior to removal.





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2).
Remove control unit in rear door (3).





Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
- Check printed-out or noted-down settings for car and key memory in CKM menu and reset if necessary
- Initialize control unit in rear door Programming and Relearning.
