Fault: CAN Message With Fault Value Received

Explanation
The ACC control module stores this fault if it receives a message via the CAN bus that the transmitting control module has marked as "defective".

Example: The engine control module detects that the calculated torque is incorrect due to a system error. It still sends the message, but marks it as defective.

Effects of faults
The defective message mean that the ACC control module switches of and interrupts accelerating.

Notes on troubleshooting
The stored fault shows that there is no fault in the ACC control module!

Troubleshooting must be continued at the control module for which the fault is stored.

The following control modules can be affected:
- Engine management system DME/DDE
- Transmission Control
- DSC control module
