Complaint

Customer complains the check engine lamp is illuminated. When diagnosed using the DIS Plus or GT1 the vehicle stores FC 2EF4 Map Thermostat Mechanism Stored in DME.

Cause

Under Investigation

Measure

1. Do not replace any parts.

2. Connect vehicle to a FASTA transmitting diagnostic device and perform short test. Once the short test has concluded verify the vehicle has been identified properly.

3. Submit PuMA Case to the Drivetrain Technical Hotline for additional repair procedures.

4. Clear DME fault memory and release vehicle to the customer.
