SUBJECT
STVL/STVR Pressure Sensor Faults

MODEL
E65/E66 Vehicles produced to 03/2004

SITUATION

The airbag warning lamp is illuminated, and pressure sensor control module faults are stored in either the STVL (Door satellite - Left) or STVR (Door satellite - Right).

Typical fault codes are Left/right):

^ 9676/96F6, 9673/96F3, 9672/96F2, 9662/96E2

CORRECTION

Carry out a short test and follow the DIS test Plan. Correct any faults that are identified.

[NEW] Update the vehicle using Progman V20.0, or later version. Refer to SI B 09 05 01 (Coding Individualization and Programming) Procedure B.
