Replacing Front Bumper (M3)

Remove both foglamp inserts (complete).
Remove water reservoir for windshield washer system.

Replacing center section of front bumper (support beam):







Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release nuts (3) and remove air horns (2) from mounting bracket (4).







Lever out clips (1) with wiring harness (2) from mounting bracket (3).







Release plastic blind rivets (1) and expansion rivets (3).
Lever out catches (2) and detach bumper carrier (4).







Replacement only:
Release expansion pins (1) and detach assembly aids (2) from bumper carrier (3).

Replacing front bumper (bumper trim):
Remove grill for bumper trim.
Remove holder for license plate.
Detach mucket (1) from bumper (2).
Remove metal nuts (2) on left/right.
Detach clip (3) for wiring harness.
Unlock plug connection (4) and detach from holder (5).
Unlock holder (5) and remove.
Lever out cover for towing eye and detach retaining strap from bumper.
