Service Information Bulletins are the first place to refer to when preparing to diagnose a transmission system malfunction. Service Information bulletins address known malfunction issues and minimize invested diagnostic time when used.

- Verify customer complaint,
- Gather service related information prior to diagnosis.
- Once in TIS, properly identify vehicle.
- Select path to see if customer complaint actually matches up with a known problem.
- Use the menu to selection path that best fits the condition of malfunction.
- Review your selections taking a second look to make sure they are appropriate.
- The system will narrow the search down providing pertinent information specific to the entered parameters.
