Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Tension Struts

Caution: If tension struts are replaced, wheels on front axle must be aligned.

Remove guide joint on left and right, refer to Ball Joint, Service and Repair.





Release nut and remove tension strut.

Installation:
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque:
- Tension strut to front axle support 165 Nm
Replace screw
Tighten in empty weight on normal position
If necessary, remove rubber mount, Refer to Control Arm Bushing, Service and Repair.
