Instructions

Components:
Maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness around the air line connections when dismantling and assembling components. Even small dirt particles can cause leakage in the system.

Air spring strut/air spring:
If a vehicle is driven with Repressurized air spring strut or Repressurized pneumatic spring, the air spring strut or pneumatic spring must always be replaced.

Test: Lift vehicle. If the rubber bellows can be compressed by hand, the air spring strut or air suspension is Repressurized and must be replaced.

Troubleshooting:
Locate faults with the help of the BMW Diagnosis System and the troubleshooting manual,
refer to Level control system troubleshooting.

Checking function of height sensor
Interrogate the fault memory with the BMW Diagnosis System and, if necessary, perform troubleshooting routing,
refer to Height sensor troubleshooting.

Adjusting vehicle height setting
Perform height setting offset routing with BMW Diagnosis System.
Vehicle must stand on a level surface.
Vehicle must not be loaded!
