SUBJECT
Rear Window Sunshade Clips Broken
MODEL
E53 (X5 SAV)-Produced up to 01/2004
SITUATION
Some customers may complain that the rear window sunshade clips are broken or have pulled out of the window frame.
CAUSE
Insufficient strength of the plastic sunshade clip.
CORRECTION
Retention force of the sunshade clip has been improved.
PROCEDURE
In case of customer complaint, replace both sunshade clips for right and left side rear windows. P/N 51 167 155 428 will automatically come with 4 sunshade hooks
