A camber change always involves a toe-in change as well, therefore the camber must be adjusted first.
Adjusting camber:
Replace hexagon collar nut (1).
Ensure eccentric washer is correctly located (2).
Tighten hexagon collar nut (1).
Tightening torque, 33 32 1 lAZ.
Slacken hexagon collar nut (1) approximately 1/2 turn.
Important: If the hexagon collar nut (1) is tightened more than 10 times during adjustment, it must be replaced again. The self-locking effect becomes too slight.
Adjust camber precisely to specified value with eccentric screw.
Note:
The eccentric screw must be located between the stops (1).
Tighten hexagon collar nut.
Tightening torque, 33 32 1 lAZ.
Adjusting toe-in:
Slacken screws approximately 1 1/2 turns on bearing block.
Attach special tool 32 3 030 to screw head and to journal (1).
Turn special tool and adjust toe-in to specified value.
Installation: Tightening torque, 33 3213AZ.
