E85, E83 with navigation system (option 609) from start of production until January 2004:
CID is humming when closing.

Complaint
When closing the CID (Central Information Display) by pressing the open/close button a humming noise can be heard before the CID is completely closed (approx. the last 15°)

Cause
Bearing noise.

Measure
On a customer complaint basis only, replace the CID with the current part specified in the EPC.
