SUBJECT
Instrument Cluster FC 20 (Airbag) Stored After Quick Erase

MODEL
E85 (Z4)

SITUATION
No complaints with regards operation or driving. Airbag warning lamp does not light up. Fault memory entry:

Entry FC 20 (Airbag warning Light) stored in the instrument cluster after a "quick delete" of fault memories. The fault is sporadic and currently not stored as present.

CAUSE
Clearing the SIM fault code memory leads to this entry.

PROCEDURE
Clear the fault memory entry in the instrument cluster individually using DIS/GT1.
