Warning Gong Sounds in Instrument Cluster

MODEL
E85 (Z4)

SITUATION
A warning gong sounds permanently from the instrument cluster after starting the engine or after removing the key from the ignition.

CAUSE
Software fault in instrument cluster

PROCEDURE
In case of customer complaint, install instrument cluster with SW 7.1 or higher.
