Moisture in Headlight

MODEL
E85, E86 (Z4)

SITUATION
A large volume of moisture can be seen in the headlight from the outside of the vehicle.

CAUSE
Incorrect seating of the headlight housing cover following repairs.

CORRECTION
In the event of a customer complaint:





1. Dry out headlight with a blow dryer.

2. Correctly fit the headlight housing cover (1), so that the seal in the housing cover is correctly seated on the headlight housing.

3. Make sure that the locking bracket (2) is fitted into the locking tabs.

Covered under the terms of the BMW New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Please refer to the latest KSD for all applicable labor operations and allowances.

If the appropriate labor operation is not contained in KSD, then a work time labor operation should be
used.
