51 24 100 Removing And Installing/Replacing Rear Lid Lock (Upper Section)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear lid recessed handle
Version with emergency release:
- Remove lock cylinder trim







Disconnect plug connection (1). Unfasten screws (2).
Push upper section of rear lid lock (3) fully into rear lid and feed out towards front.

Installation:
Use thread-tapping screws.
5AZ Rear lid lock to rear lid 10 Nm







Remove lock (1).
Lever out Bowden cable (2) and remove upper section of rear lid lock (3).

Installation:
Bowden cable (2) and lock must be correctly fitted.

Installation:
Perform function check with rear lid open.
