54 34 159 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Convertible Top Catch (Automatic)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front convertible top fabric







Remove cover (1).
2 = Right cover







Release screws (1) and remove Hall sensor.
Loosen screws (2).
Feed out catch (3) towards rear top, detach flexible shaft (4) from catch in so doing.

Installation:
- Catch must be set to "open" before flexible shaft is pushed on. If necessary, turn accordingly by means of drive pinion.
- Replace screws (2).
