54 34 160 Removing And Installing/Replacing Right Convertible Top Catch (Automatic)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front convertible top fabric







Remove cover (2).
1 = Left cover







Release screws (1), turn reinforcement to one side.
Release screws (2), press engine frame downwards slightly.
Release screws (3), remove holder and lock.

Installation:
Replace screws (2).

Loosen screws (1).







15AZ Convertible top lock to convertible top frame (bow 1) (replace screws).
M6 14.5 Nm
Feed out catch (2) with Bowden cable towards rear top, detaching drive shaft (3) from catch and feeding out Bowden cable (4) with sensor.
