Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear ABS Pulse Generator

34 52 535 Removing and installing/replacing rear ABS pulse generator





Note:
Read and comply with General Information.
Remove wheel.

If necessary, remove tank cover.





Open plug housing (1).
Pull plug connection for ABS pulse generator out of fixture and disconnect.





Open cable fasteners (1). Pull cable out of fasteners on rear swinging fork.





Open cable fasteners (1). Feed cable out of fasteners and rear swinging fork (2).

Release hexagon socket screw (1). Withdraw ABS pulse generator (2) from bore hole.
Installation:
Clean bore hole for pulse generator and grease with lubricating grease Staburags NBU 12/K (refer to BMW Service Operating Fluids).
