Combination Switch: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing/ Replacing Multifunction Steering Wheel Switch

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead. Instructions For Disconnecting and Connecting Battery
- Remove airbag unit. Removing and Installing or Replacing Airbag Unit (Inserted Airbag Unit)





NOTE:
- Illustrations show multifunction steering wheel (3) removed.
- The two multifunction steering wheel switches (2) can be removed indepedently of each other.

Release associated screw (1).

Unlcip corresponding multifunction steering wheel switch (2) in direction of arrow from multifunction steering wheel (3).

Disconnect associated plug connections and remove multifunction steering wheel switch (2).

Installation:
- Make sure electrical leads are correctly routed.
