E85 (Z4) with DSP amplifier (option 677) from 9/2002 - 10/2003

Complaint

The sound settings (Treble Bass Fader Balance) are not stored after ignition OFF.

After a vehicle restart the settings are shown in the middle position (default).

Cause

DSP amplifier

Measure

On a customer complaint basis replace the DSP amplifier.
Install P/N 65 12 6 946 727.
