Replacing Left or Right Adapter


Remove all underbody protection panels.
Remove right heat shield from front axle support.
Support front axle support with workshop hoist.





Slacken left and right screws (1) a few turns.
Remove left and right screws (2).

Installation:
First tighten down screw (1)-tapered connection paint-free.
Adapter to body 59 Nm
Note: Replace screws.





Lower workshop hoist.
Unfasten screws.
Remove adapter (1).

Installation:
Front axle support to adapter 110 Nm
Note: Replace screws.
