Replacing Left Eccentric Shaft Sensor

Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Eccentric Shaft Sensor (N62)
(Cylinder Bank 5 to 8)

Remove left cylinder head cover.





Unfasten screws.

Remove eccentric shaft sensor (1).

Installation:
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME).
Check stored fault messages.
Rectify faults.
Now clear the fault memory.
